About Murcialva

THE INCEPTION

THE INCEPTION

Murcialva stems from a family-owned plywood and timber processing firm founded in 1991. Since its inception, the company has solely focused on supplying high-quality products in more than 70 countries throughout Europe, America and Asia.

New and improved technology and machinery enable us to use production methods to showcase the natural look and feel of wood in premium quality floors that are easy to install, sustain and maintain for years to come.

Our flooring is produced from Oak, Ash, Walnut, Merbau, Jatoba, Larch, heat-treated Oak and Ash. Most of the species are available in several grades and myriad finishing options such as Lacquering and Oiling.  Our Parquet Boards are available in 1, 2 and 3 strip formats. Glueless fixing is available by Click system or traditional T&G.

SPECIALITY HARDWOOD

In Central Europe, around 48 different wood species could be distinguished, including 17 shrub species. However, only 24 species of wood are recognized as commercial grade. Today, more than 60% of Austrian forests are cultivated with Norway spruce based on the commercial European silvicultural strategy. The cultivation of a wider variety of wood species opens up the pathway for higher sustainable forestry practices. The wood industry in the Baltic States ( Estonia, Lithuania & Latvia) has an average annual timber harvest of 30 million cubic meters and produces one of the highest grade hardwood available in the world.

A GREEN CONSCIENCE

Every single offering in the MurciAlva collection is ethically sourced from around the world. Committed to a sustainable future, MurciAlva makes responsible use of technology. Proper treatment and reuse of fully recyclable waste ensure a lower carbon footprint. With the help of our evolved machinery and technology, we can produce a greener floor with our water-based natural silk oils and Hardwork Oils. In addition, the lacquers and stains do not emit any VOCs after installation. Working in harmony with nature, MurciAlva ensures the preservation of nature at every step.
